Small Business Demise 11/19/09

Well a couple more bumps in the road and now the closing of our business will be the day before Thanksgiving. Yep that is it we are done, I have for the last couple of months been working out of the shop and on the shop floor. This allows me to be included in break time, something I have missed for the last few years. You learn a lot at break time. Today I had to break the terrible news that next Wednesday we will close after thirty years in business. I guess I did all that was possible to keep it alive, and for that reason I am able to go out with the knowledge that in thirty years we never missed a payroll. One of the immediate areas of fallout is the loss of our home in the mountains that we built and then used to keep our business alive. We will move from that home to mobile home in the desert. The photo is in the home we built in the mountains on a nice winters day, going to miss that place a lot. We must stop this from continuing to happen to small business. Elect Conservatives and take back our country. We don’t bow to Japan or we don’ t humble ourselves to China Mr President. President Obama not knowing what it is like to have to get by in the world is ready to give away our opportunities and those of our children and grandchildren to our competitors in World Politics.
