Small Business Demise 11/30/09

When we closed last week I had this great plan in my mind about how we were going to move on to this new life. Well I also have this fear of turning into the over 55 white male angry and pissed at everyone, blaming them for his problems. That is easy to do because the odds are against me when it comes to having a job like I had before. People with a lot less experience are being looked at for positions that are well above their capabilities. They are just cheap. The public is getting quite used to inferior performance and the sheep that they are do not complain. My company was on top for a while, we had a 10% to 12% increase in sales 28 years in a row and the hit a brick wall with the new housing market. Lost my business and a great home that I built 27 years ago. So you see it is very easy to fall into the old white male stereotype. Now what the hell do I do? Does Obama have a plan for me? Before I went under I kept hearing about the recession easing. I guess the brilliant economists need to talk to the man on the street. We need to Elect A Conservative to office at all levels.
